Dr. Shroff Charity Eye Hospital is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Patient Counsellor to join our team on a 1-Year Contractual Basis.

Key Responsibilities:
Screen and identify eligible beneficiaries under the PM-JAY scheme through the portal and verify required documents.
Counsel patients and their attendants regarding scheme benefits, package coverage, and treatment procedures.
Manage documentation and pre-authorization processes by coordinating with doctors and relevant departments.
Act as a liaison between patients and hospital teams to ensure smooth patient flow from admission to discharge.
Handle claim processing, follow-ups, claim submission, and track claim status as per guidelines.
Ensure compliance with government protocols, documentation standards, and audit requirements.
Requirements:
Graduate in any discipline (Healthcare background preferred)
Experience in patient counselling, PM-JAY, TPA, insurance, or hospital billing processes preferred.
Good communication, coordination, and patient-handling skills.
Basic knowledge of computer applications and hospital processes.
